As a Social Media Manager at Near Creative, you will take the lead in conceptualising innovative, data-driven social media strategies that elevate client campaigns and position our agency as a leader in the industry. This role involves creating and monitoring the execution and delivery of top-level strategies, fostering creativity, and driving measurable impact for clients. You will take ownership of the strategic direction for client accounts, mentor and train a growing team of Junior Social Media Strategists, and play a pivotal role in scaling our social media services to attract global brands.

Strategic Content Leadership:
Develop and oversee comprehensive content marketing plans and channel strategies, ensuring alignment with client goals and audience insights.
Oversee the creation of content plans and calendars with a long-term strategic vision, incorporating innovative content ideas that resonate across platforms, such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Youtube.
Able to ideate outside of the box executions that truly stand out on social media
Process Evaluation and Improvement:
Assess, refine, and scale current social media workflows and playbooks to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Streamline processes across planning, execution, and reporting to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.
Collaborate with teams to drive innovation and align operations with client goals and industry best practices.
Performance Optimization:
Direct the creation of in-depth, data-driven monthly content performance reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Guide the team in leveraging analytics to refine content strategies and exceed client KPIs.
Experience in paid ad management, including strategizing media plans based on client goals and budget, and optimizing paid ads to maximize performance, is a strong advantage.
Team Mentorship & Development:
Mentor Junior Social Media Strategists, fostering growth and developing their strategic and creative skills.
Provide leadership in team planning sessions, promoting collaboration and elevating the overall quality of output.
Innovative Trendspotting:
Stay ahead of social media and moment marketing trends to keep strategies and posts unique and relevant.
Refine and optimize social media processes, enhancing efficiency in content ideation, production, and measurement.
Senior-Level Collaboration:
Work closely with clients and internal teams to present strategies, manage expectations, and ensure a seamless execution of plans.
Act as the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring high-level ideas translate into impactful content and results
Business Development Support:
Contribute to the growth of the agency’s social media and content services by identifying opportunities to expand offerings and upsell to clients
Support business development efforts by providing strategic insights and crafting compelling social media strategies for client pitches

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in social media strategy, content marketing, or digital marketing, preferably within an agency, startup, or corporate setting.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies for clients across various industries.
Experience mentoring or managing junior team members is required.
Skills:
Strong expertise in social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Asana).
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting data and creating performance-driven strategies.
Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
Proficient in creating and delivering impactful presentations to clients and stakeholders.
