Traveloka wanted to create a campaign that was targeted towards two types of consumers - the moms and the millennials. They asked for an idea that would represent the lives and stories of the influencers while they travel.

The Brief

Our Idea

We chose to create a video that had a vlog storyline for the millennials, and an interview-style video for the moms. For the millennials, we chose to work with Patrice Averilla, better known as @avelovin on Instagram. She is a travel vlogger who also worked hard to be able to travel and make this her career. For the story, we incorporated comments that her fans typically made, and positioned the vlog as a way to help other people travel more. As for the moms, we chose Mikaela Martinez, who gave tips to fellow moms about her experience in planning trips for her family of five.

Results

The videos received over 1M views on YouTube, and about 500,000 on Facebook. There were positive sentiments about the content and comments were generally about being able to relate to the influencer. Most people felt inspired to travel and try out the suggestions that both influencers had.
