Locally, the Filipino jeepney has always been a symbol of history and heritage in the country. Since this colorful vehicle has also been ubiquitous to the everyday commute of many Filipinos, it has also naturally become a part of our culture too!
The jeepney’s unique look has quirky designs emblazoned on its exteriors. This in itself has made the jeep a part of important art galleries and local artists and even popular local clothing brands like Team Manila.
